SPIRE Academy is thrilled to be hosting the USA Wrestling U23 Nationals and U20 World Team Trials from June 2—June 4. Wrestling athletes from all over the country will come to Geneva, OH to compete for the opportunity to represent the United States of America at the UWW Senior World Championships in Belgrade, Serbia – and the U20 World Championships in Warsaw, Poland later this year.

This event features competition for U20 age athletes (Born 2003–2006) and U23 age athletes (Born 2000–2005) in Men’s Freestyle and Greco-Roman events. The top eight place winners in the U20 division who are eligible will qualify for the Junior and 16U National Championships held in Fargo, North Dakota from July 14–22, 2023.

SPIRE’s facilities are currently being prepared to host sixteen wrestling mats and a wide area for athletes and spectators alike to join in on the action. During the event, SPIRE’s own Mike Kulczycki, Wrestling Head Coach, will be facilitating a wrestling skill development clinic where athletes can hone their skills.
