With great enthusiasm, SPIRE welcomes Phillip Darrin as the Academy’s Head of School. Phillip joins the team with decades of valuable experience in the education sector, both in teaching and administrative roles.

For the majority of his professional career Phillip worked at South Kent School in South Kent, Connecticut, making a positive impact in roles such as Dean of Students and Academic Affairs, Director of Student Services, and Chief Academic Officer. In the classroom, he taught subjects such as Economics, History, English, Pre-Engineering, and Entrepreneurship.

In those roles, Phillip spent time engaging with a diverse domestic and international student body cultivating an authentic community around the integration between sports and academics – experience that will transition flawlessly into his work at SPIRE.  Over the years, he has gained a superior understanding of what can constructively influence education, athletics, and student life.

Through his extensive, diverse background and Masters in Business Administration, SPIRE is confident that Phillip will bring immense value to the academy and its students.
