SPIRE proudly announces the incredible journey of SPIRE Academy wrestler Kane Foley as he heads to Romania to represent Team USA in his second Beach Wrestling World Championship. A dedicated and passionate wrestler from New Bern, North Carolina, Kane has proven himself to be talented and committed to the sport.

Wrestling Head Coach Mike Kulczycki expressed his enthusiasm saying, “We are super excited for Kane to represent the USA and SPIRE Academy at the Beach Wrestling World Championship. Regardless of the outcome, this is a huge opportunity for Kane to grow as a wrestler and compete on the world stage.”

Kane Foley is looking forward to the upcoming event where he plans to focus on the experience, learning and personal growth. He expressed that while winning is important, wrestling and competing at this level is also about the opportunity to grow and spread positivity. He said, “Leadership is more [about] the experience…it’s not every day you get to go to another continent. We bring together 40 countries for the sport that you love. It’s really quite the experience.” Foley also expressed how excited he is to be attending SPIRE, and he is especially happy to be working with such extremely supportive coaches and teammates.
